Auto Retiree VEBA Trust
On October 17th, 2011 the first ever Auto Industry VEBA Trust was approved by a bankruptcy judge to be a Qualified Health Plan in order to be eligible to receive the Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC).
The Auto Retiree VEBA Trust will begin to accept enrollment for a January 1st, 2012 effective date. This VEBA will provide HCTC qualified benefits that offer Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision benefits. In addition to the HCTC benefits, the VEBA will offer several different plan choices for the Medicare population as well.
Am I Eligible to Participate in the Auto Retiree VEBA Trust?
In order to be eligible to participate, you must have worked at least 5 years for one of the following companies:
